Grocery Outlet Inc. Disclosure under California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010

Grocery Outlet is committed to socially responsible, lawful and ethical business practices. That commitment extends to our supply chain, and we expect our suppliers to conduct themselves in the same manner. As required by the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, the following disclosure describes efforts we take to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain.

  1. Management team members responsible for our supply chain perform a preliminary assessment of suppliers of our products to determine the level of risk associated with slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain.
  2. Our supplier agreements require compliance with applicable laws in the production of products, which includes laws relating to slavery and human trafficking. Where appropriate, Grocery Outlet personnel or our designee inspects its suppliers’ production facilities to ensure good practices and adherence to this law.
  3. We are in the process of requiring all of our import suppliers to certify that they willcomply with all applicable provisions of our Supplier Agreement, including compliancewith laws regarding child labor, anti-slavery and anti-human trafficking in all countries where production is done.
  4. Grocery Outlet requires its employees who have responsibility in supply chain management to insure that our suppliers agree to and certify to their compliance with the provisions of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010.
