We are thrilled to announce that the Grocery Outlet family added another store to the family! We celebrated our brand new Grocery Outlet location on Saturday, September 13 in Willits, California! The Willits Grocery Outlet is independently owned and operated by Brock McDowell.
“I have been working in the grocery industry since I was 16-years-old. As I have risen up the ranks for various retailers, including my parent’s Grocery Outlet, I have enjoyed helping customers and building relationships with the community,” said Brock McDowell, owner and operator of the Willits Grocery Outlet. “Willits reminds me of where I grew up and I feel such a strong sense of community here. I look forward to serving our fellow residents by helping to create jobs and by giving back to local nonprofits and organizations to benefit those in need.”
In celebration, the Willits Grocery Outlet invited community members to attend the free, public grand opening event on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the store’s location on 1718 S. Main Street in Willits, CA. The Willits Grocery Outlet will also be donating $1,000 worth of food to Willits Community Services and Food Bank.
The expansion into Willits is one of 16 new Grocery Outlet stores scheduled to open this year. We look forward to bringing our extreme bargains to new communities across the country.
