This recipe is super simple and allows brunch to come together quickly. You can improvise easily with whatever fruit is in season, though berries and stone fruits work best. Serve with bacon or sausage and a cup of coffee or your favorite juice.
The Big Game calls for snacks big in flavor, but easy to eat while you watch. We’ve made some simple Surf and Turf snacks from this week’s ad items that are big on flavor, but bite-sized so you can focus on the game.
Smoothie bowls have been making the blogging rounds as a fun new approach to breakfast. Basically, you make a smoothie, put it in a bowl, and put stuff on top of it. Stirred together, the smoothie bowl has more texture and interest than a basic smoothie, and since you’re (probably) sitting down to eat it, you can take your time to really enjoy it, rather than just slurping it down. All the convenience and health benefits of a smoothie, but a lot more fun. We decided to try it by making our own.
To celebrate our 20% off All Wine Sale, we created this recipe in the Buyer’s Kitchen for Pasta with a hearty Malbec Meat Sauce! Wine adds flavor and depth to the sauce, and the alcohol cooks out as it simmers on the stove. We topped with Mozzarella cheese, but you could easy swap in Parmesan or any other kind of Italian cheese as per preference. Fresh herbs would also add a little something extra. Enjoy!
In honor of our 20% off Cereal Sale (October 4-11, 2016), we made this easy, no-bake ice cream pie, with a crispy, crunchy cereal crust. This recipe is great if you don’t have a lot of time, or love ice cream, Rice Krispie treats, or all of the above!
Make the most of sweet summer fruits with this light chicken salad with peaches and pecans! Feta cheese balances it out with a little tang, avocado adds some creaminess, and the pecans give you just a little crunch. We used a Raspberry Vinaigrette, but you can easily make your own dressing or sub it out for your preferred dressing.

Who doesn’t love some great guacamole? But sometimes plain ol’ guac gets a little boring. If you’re feeling adventurous, give one or all of our great guac recipes a try! These recipes work really well when served all together as pictured, or you can mix and match to your taste.
