Steve and Debbee Tarr are the operators of the Grocery Outlet located in Manteca, California. In 1995, Steve began working for the company as a Freezer Assistant. After several years and numerous promotions, Steve decided it was time to begin operator training and he convinced Debbee to start with him. The couple's training moved them to the North Tacoma Grocery Outlet in 2000. Then in 2002, they took their first store in Yuba City, California. A year later they took the Victorville Grocery Outlet and in July of 2009, they took over the store here in Manteca.

Steve and Debbie are dedicated to providing their shoppers with the best bargains around and in doing so, have made quite a few friends. Although they are relatively new to Manteca, Steve and Debbee are already getting involved in their community. They held a Chamber of Commerce party at the store before the grand opening and are looking forward to being involved with the Manteca community as much as possible.

Steve and Debbee’s two sons help in the store with everything from stocking shelves to watering the plants, always with a smile and a positive attitude. Steve, Debbie and the entire team are offering the community of Manteca unbeatable bargains, outstanding service and a place to shop where they can save, every day!
